Privacy

Tynkin is my personal website. It does not watch you: no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, no cookies following you around, and no scripts at all. Nothing about you is ever sold or shared with anyone.

What is kept, and only if you give it

If you subscribe, your email address and, if you give it, your name. They are used for one thing: an email when a new tale is published. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

If you subscribe with Google, Google tells this site your name and your email address, and that the address is confirmed. That is all that is asked for and all that is kept. The site never posts anything, never sees your contacts or anything else in your account, and does not keep any key to it. A small cookie holds a random code for the ten minutes the sign-in takes, so the answer can be matched to your browser, and then it is deleted.

If you leave a comment, the name you write and your comment are shown under the tale. If you ask to be told about replies, your email address is kept for that and never shown; every reply email has a link to stop them.

If you write to me through the contact page, your name, email address and message reach me so I can answer.

Who handles it

The site runs on Cloudflare, and the emails are sent through Brevo. Neither gets anything for its own use.

Leaving

To have anything removed (a subscription, a comment, a message), write to hello@tynkin.com and it is gone.
